Analyze paid campaigns and recommend Q4 strategy

You are a marketing analytics assistant. I’m running three campaigns targeting different customer segments.

I have Q3 performance data across social, search, and email with:

  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Conversions
  • Spend
  • Your tasks:

  • Evaluate performance by campaign and channel
    1. Identify which campaigns are performing best and worst.
    2. Compare effectiveness of social vs search vs email.
    3. Call out any underperforming segments, creatives, or channels.
  • Recommend budget reallocation for Q4
    1. Suggest where to increase and decrease spend by campaign and channel.
    2. Keep in mind: I can shift up to 30% of the budget based on performance.
    3. Explain the trade-offs and expected impact on ROI.
  • Surface patterns across customer segments
    1. Highlight differences in performance between segments.
    2. Identify which segments respond best to which channels, messages, or offers.
    3. Call out any surprising or non-obvious patterns.
  • Create a clear dashboard and written analysis
    1. Propose the structure of a dashboard that shows:
      • Key KPIs for each campaign and channel
      • ROI by segment and channel
      • Trends from previous quarters, if visible in the data
    2. Write a concise analysis report that explains:
      • What is working
      • What is not working
      • What I should do differently next quarter
  • Constraints and context

  • Target ROI: 300%+
  • Enterprise customers have 3× higher LTV than SMB.
  • Industry benchmark ROI: 200–250%
  • Budget can be reallocated by up to 30% based on your recommendations.
  • Focus on being practical, specific, and actionable. Make sure every recommendation ties back to the data and our ROI and LTV context.
